The Lord has also brought me a scripture for the Women's home in Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, The mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
The beginning of 2022 I read Isaiah 43:19 and again have come across this scripture several times with an excitement every time I read this. I had an expectancy knowing that the Lord was going to do something new in our lives. We decided to partner with Jesse as he works in San Fernando and decided to Partner along Calvary Chapel Homex with Pastor Eddie and his lovely wife Jeanette. A couple weeks ago I was approached by Pastor Eddie's wife saying they found a home for a Women's home. Many of you know I have a heart for Women's restoration. We both began to share our hearts for this new ministry and found we have such a kindred spirit. The home is in Rosarito which is great as we can plug the Women in with Calvary Chapel Rosarito and even Calvary Chapel Homex. We would love to have bible studies, teach women child care, teach them to make resumes to find jobs, teach them budgeting their incomes and maybe talk to local business to hire the Women. Please keep this in prayer. Rent is only $200 a month and we would like to pay a full year so we don't have to worry about this expense. We also need prayer for Women's under garments, clothing, shoes, and personal hygiene. beds, linens, etc. I think you can figure what we need. I will be down for the missions conference at the end of the month and those would love to ask question feel free to speak with me. The Lord has also brought me a scripture for the Women's home in Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, The mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

The beginning of October CCWG came out with an adult team. One of the places we went was San Fernando which is located right in the middle of Rosarito, Mexico. You never would think such a town of poverty exists in the middle of town but it does. As we were feeding the people food and the gospel I ran into a lady. She said "Bernadette don't you recognize me" As I took a second glance at her I recall her well. Her name is Panfila. Friends when we first moved to La Mision and I worked at the Women's home she was one of our first ladies. She was broken, ill, she was almost on her death bed. We feed her, loved her, took her to the hospital, prayed with her, discipled her and here she was helping the very people where she had once lived. The love in our eyes as we embraced. Happy tears! How good is our Lord to allow us to see the fruit. I have some pictures of Panfila when she was in the Women's home. I know I'll see her again and I will take a picture of my dear Sweet Sister and I together. The last picture with the lady wearing the scarf is Panfila. This was a glimpse of what the Women's home was like. Please agree with me in prayer as the Lord has placed in my heart that a Women's home with their children is needed. Nothing is impossible with God! Let's pray and agree on this home for Women and their children and let us watch the Lord's glory shine! Here are pictures of my Brothers and Sister from CCWGPastor Jeff and I want to Thank you for all your prayers and support its together we do this. God between us while we are apart! Blessings my Brothers and Sisters!
After COVID hit and things calmed down. We were amazed to have CCWG youth come and visit us. After a year of staying home the children in Rosarito had Vocational Bible School for the entire week. The excitement was in the air as they worshipped and learned about Jesus. Our days were full VBS during the day. Then we went to Calvary Chapel Homex. Accompanying us was School of Missions. While the kids were at VBS Jeff and his team demolished a room to make it bigger. Then it was off to Homex where we cleaned up the park. Played games with the children and shared testimony on how much Jesus loves you. Fed the community. I can't wait for Pastor Dane and his team to return. After the High Schoolers left for home we had our Young adults come down. They helped serve at the Church planting conference. They worked in the kitchen, and cleaned up after everyone and spread the love of God. Their last day they went to Calvary Chapel Homex and fed the entire congregation pizza. I love this group and can't wait to see them again. We just want to thank Pastor Aaron for everything he does for us.
Thank you Pastor Dane the families were blessed with all your hard work. This group of High Schoolers I see great things in their future. Pastor Brandon Thank you as well. It was a delight to work side by side during the Church Planting Conference. Your group are such hard workers. Stay tuned cause summers not finished there is more to come. vs 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth. vs 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, vs 20 teaching them to observe all that I command you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" Matthew 28: 18-20 Update-2020
First we would like to personally thank all of you that support us. Without you we wouldn’t be able to be here in Mexico. So we “Thank You” from the bottom of our hearts! Like you we have all been quarantined with this Corona Virus. Jeff and I have taken advantage of this time to reflect, pray and fast before the Lord. We really felt the Lord pulling us in a new direction we said our “thank you’s” and good bye’s to our dear Rancho Libertad and decided to head back to Rosarito. We are currently back on staff at Calvary Chapel Rosarito and naturally Jeff is helping with building projects. We recently attended our first car church. Which was such a blessing as we were able to fellowship with our fellow believers. As we reflect on last year in La Mision we have experienced some amazing events. A fire for one. Never had we been so close to a fire. I sat at a distance with our (2) two dogs as my husband and (2) Mexican women fought fires back from the homes we lived in. During this time the Lord spoke powerfully to my husband. This last year Jeff had started teaching on the book of Revelation and now when I think about it what perfect timing especially with all that is happening. The Bible tells us when we hear of wars and rumor of wars, do not be troubled for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And, there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles, these are the beginning of sorrows. Mark 13:7,8 Rancho Libertad Calvary Chapel continues to grow. We have expanded upstairs with more seats. The classroom is finished. Sunday school is running up to 50 kids. Please keep this ministry in prayer as we need faithful Teachers. Todos Santos - As you can see they are having Church. Please keep Pastor Eric in prayer he keeps everything going in unity. Jeff drives up every 6 weeks bringing materials its a 28 hour drive please pray for traveling mercies. Spanish Class with Maggie Ayala every Thursday. |
