We are unpacked and have made this place home. If I could speak from my heart there is not a class or any course that can prepare you for leaving your country and becoming a missionary. The reality is, I was in shock. Everything is different. From driving on dirt roads, grocery shopping, laundry, exchanging money, and even the water. All modern comforts of home are gone. I admit to you, I began to question, "Why did I quit my job? What am I doing here? Was this really from God?" My answer to you my friends, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ "Yes" the call is from God. He sustains me. Psalm 54:4 Behold God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
Lamentations 3:22-23
The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
I am living this scripture. The Lord has been faithful not only to have my family walk beside me but also Women of God. My transition was much easier as they embraced me with arms open wide. I have a wonderful Pastor here that is quick to help me. Meanwhile, I am now building relationships and they are wonderful relationship. I know the best is yet to come...Soon I will share what the Lord is doing thru my husband...
