The beginning of October CCWG came out with an adult team. One of the places we went was San Fernando which is located right in the middle of Rosarito, Mexico. You never would think such a town of poverty exists in the middle of town but it does.
As we were feeding the people food and the gospel I ran into a lady. She said "Bernadette don't you recognize me" As I took a second glance at her I recall her well. Her name is Panfila. Friends when we first moved to La Mision and I worked at the Women's home she was one of our first ladies. She was broken, ill, she was almost on her death bed. We feed her, loved her, took her to the hospital, prayed with her, discipled her and here she was helping the very people where she had once lived. The love in our eyes as we embraced. Happy tears! How good is our Lord to allow us to see the fruit. I have some pictures of Panfila when she was in the Women's home. I know I'll see her again and I will take a picture of my dear Sweet Sister and I together.

The last picture with the lady wearing the scarf is Panfila. This was a glimpse of what the Women's home was like. Please agree with me in prayer as the Lord has placed in my heart that a Women's home with their children is needed. Nothing is impossible with God! Let's pray and agree on this home for Women and their children and let us watch the Lord's glory shine!
